I know this is after New Years so technically Christmas things are banned. But this post was started on the 28th but due to computer issues is only being posted right now.. so it doesn't count. I hope all of you had a blessed Christmas with your family and friends and that amid all the chaos you had time to consider the initial Christmas so many years ago.

Christmas Eve was at home with the family
Started off with some gingerbread house making aka candy eating

Then moved to some appy eating for dinner. So glad Amy and Eric will able to make it done for a Christmas surprise. Very thankful they were spared on the drive here

Then stocking present opening!!

I scored with some Starbucks goodness and a lovely card from my brother. " Dearest Sister Melanie, Merry Christmas to you and I hope you have a happy, simply stelar time during this Christmas and New Years. I hope you enjoy your mug and have many pleasant drinks in it. Love Joel"

Christmas Day was spent joining Oma for morning service and then a lovely afternoon of games and hanging out.

All to the lovely background of a 52ich burning log

One of the highlights as always are lovely coordinated presents from U. John.
This year is was telescopes!!! Unfortunately it was cloudy Christmas day so we couldn't try them out. But that didn't stop the exciting checking them out.
Lots of Kitchen Help.

Then following dinner the reading of Christmas Story and lots of carol singing

I hope you enjoyed a peek into our Christmas. I hope you enjoyed them.. I love Christmas pictures no matter how frustrating they are to shoot because of all the low light!!. Wishing you all a blessed New Year.
