Hi all.  I'm writing from the Congo !! Internet here is "tres" slow and this is posted from my phone.  I am having a wonderful time here. The people are amazing, the country pretty. The local doctors and nurses blow my mind with their selfless caring for the people in such primitive conditions- non of the clinics we have been at have had running water or electricity.  For the first 3 days we were at a clinic in Kinshasa (the capital) and then Thursday - today we were in a smaller town called Kikwit.  We drove back the ten hour drive after church this morning an now this week will be back at the clinic here in Kinshasa.  I can't post pics. But I have made my instagram account public while I am here as that app works faster then the Internet.  So for those without instagram on your phones you should be able to go online on the instagram website and search for my user name which is mwubs and see some pics. I covet your prayers for us as well as the people here. Love you all.  Melanie.

Update..... Maybe you can't view online without an account. Sorry. The biggest longest blog post coming when I get home.  Next time I know to at least bring a tablet
