Interesting day.. and I now know one of the reasons why Fraser Health is missing ++ amounts of money.. I sat through four hours of the Director of Nursing aka ++$$$ (who was filling in for two lower peons in the hierarchy coordinators) telling a room of 30 people things they mostly already knew and probably could have been covered by a nice pamphlet. Welcome to the New Grad workshops!!!. Now the speaker was very nice, engaging and humorous which made the process entirely less torturous but still... That enlightening, empowering experience was then capped off by Clarice having a flat tire. Thankfully I was in the best of company for flat tires, my dear friend Rosie!!! Together we loosened, jacked, replaced, and tightened and drove off on a pipsqueak tire... all in full sight of ++ people who stared as they drove by.. I must say we did a crackup job of it.. only funny part I am sure to see was the two of us in our nice clothes sitting on the side of the road reading the manuals to ensure we were jacking the car up correctly!!. Thankfully the tire was still under warranty(good thing as they were installed yesterday) and soon we were on our merry way back to Chilliwack
