It was the coldest windyest afteroon of the year, but we braved it for some family photos of this adorable little family. Poor liftle B. was not to impressed with the coldness but we made it quick for these picture.s

Poor little guy, but his mom and dad love him ever so much. Something so special about the first kid.

Rainy Day Friends

Today, for the first time since then I got together with Krystal, not for lack of trying but between school, vacations, hip replacements, and life six months creeps by pretty fast.

We met at Wendle's the most fantastic bookstore/cafe in Fort Langley. Fort Langley is just that fantastic little getaway to little stores, coffee shops and a great little walk by the river. But alas to day it was raining. And with that deluge went all of our plans for maybe a canoe paddle or a hike.

So we sat in the corner and played scrabble

I at least had a good mix of letters, unlike on Sunday night when all I had was vowels the ENTIRE night. I was actually winning until...

Until Krystal thought long and hard and came up with making "cones" scones, with the last letter of mojoes (whatever those are) on the triple word , hello 95 points!!!

So it ended with Krystal the magnificent beating Melanie the fabulous.

Canucks Game

Mark Joel and I , Went out to Vancouver last week for a Canucks game!!!! Such a lot of fun

With our hockey tickets, Super Pumped. We took the skytrain in from where we parked our car. .. could've walked but these country boys had never been on transit before!!
