I headed up north at the beginning of April for a 4 week stint up in Fort Ware and Tsay Keh Dene. I had previously been up here for the month of November.. It was a bit of a mix of excitement and dread coming up but it has turned into a fabulous month which I do not regret in any way.
Did my shopping on my layover in PG... veges and meat for a month =)
Fort Ware from the air... the school complex, the village
Was definitely still winter... trying hard to be spring when I got there April 1.. the views from my office
The runway has been my solace this month.. daily walks, fresh air, a place I can fully disconnect
View of the river on the easter long weekend
I connected early on with the teaching group up here.. was nice to have a bit of social life this time around. Easter Dinner
no chiro up here.. that's okay just do the 75Km logging road drive to Tsay Keh.. for best results repeat in 24hours. ..
While I like the village of Fort Ware better the scenery in Tsay Keh Dene is top notch. Winston lake which is the HUGE lake formed by the dam at the south end is always pretty
Sunrise after a long night at the clninc
My backyard.... spring is coming!!!
Exploring down by the lake in Tsay Keh.... wolf tracks
The lake was still frozen... ice beach is gorgeous
When they made the lake in the 1970's they flooded forests, communities and habitat for 1000's of animals... the ruins of it can still be seen when the water levels are low
Snowy morning =)
Sunny Saturdays down by the river in Fort Ware
Hockey Party Red Velvet cupcakes
I did some teaching at the school in Fort Ware.. in the kindgarden class and some 7/8's... the kids got to taste charcoal
Pics from my walk this am... happy in the sunshine!!!
The reason I fly my own fruits and veges in !!!.. Check out the price for a pineapple!!!!
The nurses houses
Head home on Monday!!!!! Thanks everyone for your thoughts, prayers and efforts to stay connected while I was up here. I really appreciate!! Yeah to the adventures that lie ahead.

SO thankful these experiences are so positive for you! as for the fruit/veggie prices....OH WOW! You think twice about making stirfry for a family of 7 when shopping there!
