Little Peek into my boat family and the place I call home for 5/7ths of my weeks.
Michelle- The Watch Officer, my cabin roomie, singer extraordinaire
Sam- First Mate- great teacher, super funny and a pretty convincing Mr Tumnis look alike by day 4
David- Senior Skipper on Board for part of the spring. Lots of fun and right in on all the action.
Sarah- Captain in Training and doing AMAZING!!
and Tristian- Bosun. Super Friend, funny and can fix just about anything. Here however we are playing a joke on Michelle. WE had a gigantic laminated "L" learner sign that had been adapted to with boaty langauge
And Home. Standing on the Afterdeck looking forward
And Below. In the Foc'sle. The most forward compartment. Sleeps 16.
From the door between the Foc'sle and the Hold. The hold has the main table, 14 bunks and open concept in to the galley
Extra natural light is let in through these prisms which on deck look like sunken lights but down below let in daylight.
The Galley. Full Counters as buns were in the making. Down the right side is a triple sink, stove and and a sunken well (great warm place for rising dough) and then the "L" shaped counter.
For the galley picture Im standing in this doorway. This hobbit sized door leads to the hallway to the aftcabin. In the hall are doors to the engine room (directly behind the galley) and the head (washroom) and a tool closet.
The Aft Cabin. Our living room. It has the stove, navigation station table and on either side of the table Sam and Tristen's Bunks
Slight hard to see but Michelle and I's cabin just to the left of the navigation station. Mine is the top bunk.
From the Port corner of the table looking forward.
The Backyard =)
thanks mel for all the pics - I feel like I know where you are now - although the sleeps 16 part seems pretty impossible!! Wow!
