Six on Saturday

1) Express lanes at the grocery store are only truly express when the cashier also is express.

2) Ever wonder what >$3000 dollars worth of groceries looks like?.. Don't worry I hadn't either. But now I know.  Ever wonder how long it takes to organize and put away >$3000 groceries?  A long time. And the best part about it is that because your mind was so busy with doing it you also dream about it all night long.

3) Sailing is three short days away and is starting to become reality. The boat is pretty much back together and the galley coming together rather slowly.  All my food came on Friday and now I need to set up the rest of the galley ie. dishes and accessories.   Its all cleaned and in one piece as of late Friday when the last of the cupboard doors and ceiling got reinstalled. Monday will be filled up with safty inspections and drills for Transport Canada and then fresh shop and then Tuesday the Johnson Street bridge will lift for the boats and we will move into the inner harbor ready for the first batch of trainees on Wednesday morning.

4) Super high avelanche ratings nixed snowshoeing for today but that segwayed into walks at the river, wedding shower for a dear friend and then snuggles with a super tiny new baby =)

5) Domestic Learning Moment-  When you only have two towels, don't do laundry on a morning when you want to have a shower.

6) What would you have today if you only had what you thanked God for yesterday.
