Sarah and Sjoerd Oct 22,2011

I headed off to Victoria last weekend for the wedding of my friend Sarah. Sarah is a fabulous woman. So full of life, grace, and love for others. She was marrying a pretty lucky guy. It was a great weekend full of friends!!
This is ones view when you rush rush rush to make sure you will be able to get on the 3pm ferry on a Friday only to discover that there also is a 2pm.. but you need to take the 3 because you are meeting a friend.  Front Row!!!
The lovely Eryn D. Who I met on the ferry and got to spend the afternoon with.
We all headed to a concert that night that was headlining Mike Edel, who is my friend Allyson's boyfriend. Oliver Swain and his bluegrass band also did a few fantastic songs.
Mike and Sjoerd had done some recording together before so the groom to be got hauled up on the stage.
Saturday morning was spent making/having breakfast with the 10 people now living at Al's house. Pancakes by Pete and omelet's made by Tina and I. What a fabulous fun group of people gathered around the breakfast table that morning. Krystal and I snuck away for a bit for a walk and pray in the rain down through the leafy streets to Cordova Bay for some coffee. After that it was crowded bathroom time for the 7 girls getting ready for the wedding.

Sarah looking absolutely stunning

I snuck outside to the vineyard following the ceremony.

Cocktails on the patio
Sarah is not only incredibly organized but also creative.  She made her own gorgeous and delicious cake

Bo took advantage of all of her children in one place and wanted a few family pictures.

And those scruffy hikers from a few weeks ago actually cleanup pretty nice =)

Sarah and Sjoerd had a unique guestbook in an antique typewriter that guests could type a message on

Also made by Sarah were these amazing bride and groom caramel apples.
Unfortunatly no pictures from the rest of the weekend but it continued to be amazing with Sunday am worship in a cathedral, swedish/dutch brunch at the brides house, afternoon on the chilly beach, pm worship with friends and lovely walks through leave covered paths to shiny blue inlets.
