On Wednesday Night we dropped the crab traps in Bedwell Harbour.  When we went to go pick them up Arwen and I had guessed that the trap would have 4 crabs in it.  When we pulled it out to the surface we were astonished.. and slightly in shock at the mass of crab in the trap!! At least 15 huge ones!!! They must have really loved the pesto chicken that we had used as bait.  After throwing back the females we still had lots to choose from to pick the biggest 8.

On Friday morning we were anchored in the Chathams.. as gorgeous little group of islands not far from Victoria.  We decided that we were going to preserve the piece and quiet and not only sail off the anchorage but also raise the anchor by hand like they did 100's of years ago.  The picture is not that great but pretty much we have a rocker handle that attaches to the winch and the anchor gets pumped up.

Chart of the Chathams.  Sarah, Niki and I also went kayaking there on Saturday morning. IT was gorgeous and sunny and lots of fun to explore the little coves and passages that the big boat doesn't fit through.
